Last Friday the ladies here threw me a shower! We had a great time and they showered their love and generousity on Allen, Ben and I! I am overwhelmed by everyones thoughtfulness and caring. They wrote sweet notes of blessing for little Ben and us as parents, gave me some very helpful and practical advice and to close we had a time where they lifted the three of us up! It was really sweet and special.

Ben and I at 35 weeks. He is weighing in at about 6 lbs! Health guy!!
This is all the goodies from the shower in our new stroller! They all gave us money to help buy the stroller and car carrier in the background. Allen has loved playing with the stroller. More on that later!

All the way from the masculine throne for Sir Ben (that's right, we're knighting my nephew before he's been born :-) to the proud status symbol when guided by King Allen. I'm glad to see Ben's starting off his 'reign' in this world in the right seat. :-)

ReplyDeleteOh! How special! Wow you are really close to seeing your little boy! I can't wait to see pictures! Your life is about to change but trust me.... it is so worth it! One word of advise for right now.... get in some dates for you and Allen! When the baby comes, it is so hard to find time to go on dates!
