Nate's Shower and 33 Weeks

The ladies here gave me a shower this past weekend for Nate. They are all so generous and the sweetest part of the whole time is lifting up little Nate to the Father. I love to hear these ladies stories and their words of wisdom and encouragement. I still can't believe that Ben and Nate will be about 15 months apart! However, it has been neat to hear different people share how their children are close in age and the great things about it and the struggles too. This is me at 33 weeks. As my mom loves to say, "I am great with child!" This had to be the hotest day here! I was melting!! Thankfully it has cooled off again.

Yesterday we took Ben and his friend, Micah, to the park. This park has some exotic animals in it like squirrels and ducks but the most important part is that it has a playground. They both loved the slides and things to climb on. Ben was exhausted by the end. He loves Micah and tries to do everything he does, however Micah is a year older then Ben! It is fun to see them together.

Nate at 32 weeks

Last Sunday we had our last in-depth ultrasound for Nate. He is 32 weeks and weighs around 4lbs 9oz. He is doing great and everything looked good. We go back on Sunday, May 23rd to see the doctor again and make sure that everything is ok to travel to the states. We leave for the US on Monday. I don't expect anything to keep us from traveling but I would appreciate you lifting this up, it would be a huge bummer to not be able to go to my brothers wedding.

My Birthday

This past Saturday, Allen watched Ben and I had a great afternoon with the Angela and Kari. We went and got a yummy lunch and then had pedicures. Angela and I share the same birthday week! It was wonderful, thanks Allen!

Black and Blue...

Two Saturdays ago, Allen and I were working in the kitchen while Ben played in the tupperware cabinet. Something fell out and Ben started wailing. He had been a little off all afternoon so I thought he was overreacting to something but Allen picked him up and discovered his big toe was black and blue. Poor guy, I think he is going to loose the toe nail.
