A little holiday...

On Monday, we went away for a couple of days. We had a great time.

Allen's B-day

We have three birthdays in April!! First Ben, then Allen, then me. I can't believe we turned 30 this year. For Allen's b-day we went and rode go-carts and bowled with John and Angela. Then we came home and some friends joined us for dinner and cake. I didn't take many pictures. It is also pretty hard to keep Ben still enough for a picture now that he has learned to walk.

Ben is definitely toddling now and all over the place. He is so adventerous and loves to explore. We are heading out of town for the week, so here are some pictures to tide you over.

Nate at 29 weeks

We went to the doctor this morning. Nate is doing great. The doctor had a hard time getting measurements because he is so active. He weighs 3 lbs. His femur is long, just like Ben! His head is down. It is so fun to go to the doctor's office. We took Ben with us and he walked all around the office. His walking has really taken off this past week. Here I am at 29 weeks.

Need some advice...

I need some advice for some activities to do inside with a very active one year old. We live on the third floor of an apartment building with no elevator. Right now it is fine, we go out and take walks, etc. However, once Nate is born I know my freedom to go out and about in the heat of the summer will decrease. We are coming to the states in May and I would like to pick up some craft stuff and activities for us to do here in the house. Any thoughts? We don't have MOPS or anything like that so he really doesn't do anything. Plus, craft stuff is super expensive if you can find it here. What do your kids do at day care or at sunday school or mothers morning out?

Also, we need to buy some sippy cups too. Any thoughts?

Ben's B-day Week

Ben turned 1 on Monday. On Monday night for dinner he had his first hot dog and had strawberries with whip cream. He loved it all! On Wednesday we had his one year check up and immunizations. Then today we had a b-day party for him with our friends here. He had b-day cake and LOVED it!!

Happy Easter!

While we were at the coast a couple of weeks ago a friend of ours took pics of Ben for Easter and his first b-day. Of course, he has gotten his top teeth since then so he looks a little different but here are some of the fun Easter pictures. Allen couldn't believe I took the ones of him in the little bunny outfit, but I personally think it is adorable. And I knew his Granny Trudy and ShoSho would love it!
