5 Months

Working hard to get a family picture!

Ben goes a lot of places in the Bjorn! I am so thankful for it!


I can't believe that Ben is 5 months old! We went and saw the pediatrician on September 3rd. She had been in the states for the summer so we skipped his four month check up. It was really special to get to go with Jimmy and Trudy to his check up. Gr. Ma got to hold Ben while he got his immunizations. He did great! Didn't even flinch.

Ben is such a great baby!
-He is now rolling over from back to stomach and occasionally will find his way back to his back again.
-He has just started reaching for people. He first reach was for Trudy which thrilled her to death!
-He is pushing up on his arms and can stay up straight on his arms for quite some time. Allen thought he could do a little more the other night and Ben came crashing down on his face! Ickes!!
-No teeth yet, lots of drooling and biting on things.
-He has started sleeping on his side and his stomach.
-He loves to babble in his sleep! We moved him into our room while Jimmy and Trudy were here and he just talked and talked!
-He very rarely cries, only when he is hungry or tired!
-He has this great hair that sticks straight up and looks a little like a mahawk. It is really cute, but it is so fine it is hard to capture on camera.
-He is not sitting yet but we are working on it.
-Had his first rice cereal this month, yeah!

At his 5 month check up he was 16 lbs. 5 oz. ad 28 inches tall. He is the same percentage for height at above 95% and has dropped in percentage for weight. I think he might be tall and thin like his daddy!
