Well...Daniel, Lauren and Aubrey left to go back to the states...very bittersweet. We loved having them here but are so excited for them to move on from the nomadic life and settle down at LeTourneau in Texas. They will be missed dearly but I certainly am thankful for the sweet blessings of this time together. Our God is so good to give sweet gifts like this! I would never have dreamt that we would move to England and get to spend time with family here.
When we first moved overseas, it was just Allen and I which was not a big deal. However, as soon as Ben was born I knew that giving up family time to do what the Lord had called us to do would be VERY hard. So, I know that this time with Daniel, Lauren and Aubrey was a special gift from God to show his gracious, loving hand in our lives and obedience to Him. What a good God we serve!
On to the cuteness! We have had a really warm summer for England. We went up to Oxford for one last Sunday with the Ostendorff's. We decided to head to a splash pad and park since it was so warm.

I love ice cream pictures!! Love how it is all over their faces!! Mostly I love that it is warm enough that they can eat ice cream. I have certainly let them eat more ice cream and ice lollies this year because of the heat. And maybe because, I love to see it all over their faces.
