Thanksgiving 2010

We just got back from a wonderful time in Tennessee for Thanksgiving. Unfortunately, my 91 year old grandma has been sick for the last couple of weeks. My Aunt Kate was great and flew in from Portland so that we could get away for the long weekend. My mom with her sister!

Ben rode in the car with my parents and David, my brother. At the first stop, I was greeted by a VERY happy boy who had gotten his uncle to give him a lollipop! This is something he NEVER gets from me.

He's Rolling

It's official! Nate is rolling all the time now. Pretty much as soon as you put him on his back he has flipped over. Of course, then he gets really frustrated that he is on his belly and he doesn't like it.

Jesse

Ben loves our next door neighbors chocolate lab. His name is Jesse and it took Ben no time at all to learn that name and remember it. It is funny because I have seriously been thinking about renaming Nate to Jesse so that Ben can say his name! Just kidding I wouldn't do that. But it is pretty funny how he can't remember other words but he can ALWAYS remember Jesse. One of the hardest things for Allen has been giving up having a dog. He always had a dog growing up and really would like our boys to have one. Of course, since Ben loves Jesse, Allen has been plugging the "our boys NEED a dog" line A LOT! We will see...

Folly Beach 1/2 Marathon

I am so excited! My sister and I are going to run the Folly Beach 1/2 Marathon on Feb. 5th, 2011. It has been 4 years and 2 c-sections since I have run a race but I am super excited! Anyone want to join us?
