A Little "Sara" Time

For the first time in over 4 years, I have 3 hours every morning to myself.  Ok, really about 2.5 hours but still it is great!  I have spent some time in the boys classes, having coffee with friends, cleaning the house and running errands but I have also had some time to do some things I enjoy!

Here I am arm knitting.  I have wanted an infinity scarf and saw this on Pinterest.  So fun and easy to do!

New blankets for the boys cowboy room.

New fall door decoration

And running!  I am training for my fourth 1/2 Marathon which is next Sunday!

Thankful for this special time with the Lord and to enjoy the beautiful country we live in!

Color Run Brighton

In September, some friends and I ran the Color Run in Brighton.  We had a great time!  If you are looking for a very non threatening fun run, this is the one to do.  They don't time it, there is great music and just a lot of fun!

Thinking of our Tigers! Christy went to Clemson.

After the run!

It was beautiful running along the seaside!

They come around and blow all the color off.  It was amazing how much came off.

Such a fun run!  A great morning with sweet friends!

Go Tigers!

We have thoroughly enjoyed cheering on the Tigers this season!  Yes, this past Saturday was disappointing but it has been a fun season.  I am amazed at technology.  Allen got the ESPN package for our ipad which we can then airplay to the tv.  So fun!  Our weekends have been pretty low key with starting school, so our Saturday evenings have revolved around watching the Tigers.

While we were in the states last September, we went to Clemson and the boys loved all the Tiger Paws, etc.  We have enjoyed teaching them about Clemson.

I bought some shirts in the states that my sister brought this summer.  Unfortunately, I bought the wrong size!  The boys will get to wear them in a couple of years!!  So, I have had fun making them a few Clemson things with printable iron-ons.

Grey sweatshirts like their daddy's gray fleece.  I must have taken the pic upside down, sorry!

Our new normal

The boys are about to finish their first half term in school.  They are off from school Thursday and Friday of this week and all of next week.  They are excited about the break and so am I!

They have done great transitioning to school.  Nate has struggled a little with letting mommy go each morning but he has a great time.  When I pick him up at lunch he has all sorts of things to tell me.  They are both making new friends and every day they know more names of people as we walk to school.

I have not taken a lot of pictures this fall but here are just a few from our everyday life.

A little after school bike riding.

On the walk home from school.  Nate LOVES Ben's tie and would wear it if he was allowed to.  There is this brick entrance sign that they love to hide behind and jump from.

After school coloring.  They both will color for a long time right now!  Miracle!!

ShoSho sent a little envelope with these balloons to decorate.  They love getting mail.

We found an awesome tree at their school.  Nate loves to climb trees!

Ben has been getting used to doing homework.  His assignment was to draw what he saw outside the window.  He of course wanted to see out the kitchen window!

A friend in our little cul-de-sac had this fun car.  Ben loves it!

 More coloring...

After school play dates.  This is Rosie!

Nate had a friend home from school for lunch and to play.

Lots of creative play right now!  I love how they have started to have creative play together.  This morning they were talking about their "dogs" and playing in an "airplane"
