Thanksgiving recap

I'm a bit behind on blogging.  I get motivated and then I think, who really reads this anyways?  So,  I don't blog and then, I have a moment where I enjoy going back and looking at past blog posts and I get motivated again, even if it is just for me!

So, Thanksgiving!  We had a great month of putting on thankful feathers on to Tom the Turkey.  Nate kept calling him a rooster!  This year was really special because we all contributed something each day.  My boys are growing up and I am loving it!

Thanksgiving morning. We had sticky buns and the boys got new Christmas pj's and a Christmas book. Allen got stuff to make chex mix!  Then the boys went off to school.  We also got a call that morning that our friends water had broken and so delivery looked like it would happen that day.  We were on call to watch Eva while the were off to the hospital.

So middle of that afternoon Eva joined us and we became a family of 5 for a little while.  The boys loved having Eva with us.

We celebrated with a big thanksgiving dinner on that Saturday before thanksgiving.  So, just like last year we went to a local restaurant called the Carvery and had dinner there.  Then we came back to our house for dessert.  Here Ben is playing tick tack toe with Caroline who he says is "very pretty".

Eva stayed the night with us and this is breakfast Friday morning. The boys LOVED it!  I had to remind them that Eva was not used to having two little boys in her face all the time.  I am really enjoying that our boys are at the point where we can bless other people and be helpful to others by serving.  A blessing!
