The First Term

Ben and Nate's first term at St. Matthews has come to an end.  They have both really enjoyed being at school.  There have been some adjustments but overall it has gone great.  Here is a look into a little bit of their lives at school.

Ben's class is the Hedgehogs.  Here they are at welcome time in the morning.  Taking the register (class roll).

I love that it is a church of England school.  They very freely talk about God and pray.  I was leaving on Friday morning and walked by the big hall where they have assembly.  They kids were all singing a praise and worship song!  There are children from so many different nationalities and religions that I am so excited to see what God is going to do through this school.

They both have a book share time where parents stay to read a book to their child.  Ben's is on Tuesday and Nate's is on Friday.  Allen happened to be off this Friday morning.

I generally wake Nate up from nap to go get Ben.  So, he usually rides in the stroller.  However, on this day both strollers were in the car with Allen.  I took the wagon instead. It was a hit!  I was amazed at home many people talked to me about the wagon.  So funny what will bring quiet Brits out of their shell.  I had mum's yelling across the road asking where I had bought the wagon, something that is just not done here.

I have been so blessed to be able to help with Ben and Nate's class.  Here we went up to a little area that has a large clump of trees and they made a little tent.  Ben is being funny in this pic with his sad face.  Check out the next one.
