Our Saturday

While we were in the states, we went to Clemson for the day.  I love that we introduced the boys to the Tigers and on Saturdays now, they love to wear their Tiger Paw shirts.  I don't know why but it brings me so much joy to see them representing Clemson!

Here are a few photos on the stairs.

Then we made a run to Costco!  And when we came back Ben wanted to make guitars.  So, we did.  They have had a blast with their little cardboard guitars.

Ben's taking a break from their jam session.

I love how you can see the strumming action in this one!

They are so much fun right now!  Lots of imagination and fun!

Craft time and the Light Party

Ben has really started to enjoy painting, coloring and making things.  And so Nate has started to enjoy them too,  his attention span is just a lot shorter!

Here they are with their crowns.

Nate's favorite color is orange.

Ben's favorite color is red.

Last Sunday we went to a light party.  It is the churches response to Halloween here in the UK. They celebrate All Saints Day instead.

They had lots of light themed activities to make.
Here we are making lanterns.

Ben very intent on his lantern.

Then we did a little painting this week.

Pumpkin Decorating

Ben and Nate have been on their fall break this week.  Apart from Allen having pnuemonia and being home sick all week, poor guy!  The boys and I have had a great week celebrating fall.

We decorated pumpkins one afternoon.

The "Pumpkin Patch"

Last weekend we went to the "Pumpkin Patch."  It really isn't a pumkin patch but a farm that does a HUGE Halloween celebration.  Unfortunately Halloween is really dark here.  So, we go early in the morning to the farm when it is kid friendly and we choose to do the things that are not in the least bit scary.

They have a really fun Corn Cannon and Pumpkin Chucker!  The corn cannon is a lot of fun!

Ben and Allen taking their turn.

Nate and I pulling the trigger!

They had some rides that the boys did.  Ben got to the top of the slide and decided he didn't like it.  To be honest, it is a steep drop off.

So, I went up and we came down together.

I love how you can see on his face how he changes his mind on the slide.  Here he is thinking he likes it...

He told me at the bottom that it made his stomach hurt and he didn't like it.  I think it made his stomach flip flop and he didn't like that sensation.

It was REALLY cold so Nate was super snuggly trying to stay warm.

The Pumpkin Patch of the farm!
It was great to get outside and enjoy the fall even if it felt more like Winter!
