The week before Christmas, the boys Preschool had a nativity and Christmas party. Ben was a shepherd and Nate was a sheep. Ben wore stuff from our time in the ME which was fun and a friend had a sheep costume we borrowed for Nate.
They did a great job putting the nativity together. All the children sat up front and when it was their part in the story they either stood up or moved to baby Jesus. It was perfect. There were songs throughout the story which the boys loved! We watched a lot of You Tube videos in the weeks leading up to the nativity to figure out the songs, like "Christmas Pudding", "Little Donkey", and "Santa Got Stuck up the Chimney". It has been really fun to see Ben and Nate working together to sing the songs and remember the words.
Throughout the story Ben's teacher would ask questions about the story. Ben knew all the answers and shouted them out! Reminds me of me! He really has learned the Christmas story this year and it has been fun talking about it with them. They do have a hard time with Joseph though, it is always "Jofus".
