My parents got here Sunday night! YEAH! We have had a great time, eating, relaxing, playing games, and waiting on Ben. We went to the doctor this morning and there are no changes. And I mean absolutely no changes! I had a Non Stress Test this morning and everything still looks good so that is a huge praise! So, we will wait till Friday night and if he has not made his appearance by then we will induce. My dad leaves Sunday morning so it would really be nice if Ben would come before Saturday. I am so thankful my parents are here. They have been so encouraging. My mom was nine days overdue with my older sister, so she is can totally empathize with me.
Here are some pictures of us together at 40 plus weeks. Don't look too closely, I am definately "great with child" as my mom says.
We had a baby shower in a crib when mom arrived! Thanks for all the fun gifts from different people. We feel so very loved!
I needed a little encouragement after our doctors appointment today. So my dad treated us to one of our favorite restuarants that overlooks the downtown part of our city after finding out the news at the doctors office.

I didn't realize mom was late with Jenn (so glad she can be there and emphathize!). Way to go dad! That's totally a thoughtful dad thing to do - he's pretty incredible! Glad they get to be there with you too! Love ya and wish I could be there with you guys!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait! I think you'll end up cherishing those last few pictures of yourself pregnant. One of my favorite pictures is of Burgess and I standing in the middle of our renovation mess the day before I went into labor. And that restaurant location is awesome!

Praying Ben will come soon so he can get some good cuddles in with your dad before he has to return home!! You look absolutely BEAUTIFUL Sara!! you are going to be a fantastic mom!
